The Gold Fields Gruyere Gold Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt, approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia. We are privileged to work on the lands of the Yilka people and operate in close consultation with their community.
The Theiss mining operation at Gruyere delivers load and haul, drill and blast, crushing and screening, as well as LV/HV maintenance.
Essential Experience
- Australian Recognised trade cert
- Extensive MEM mine site experience
- HR drivers’ licence
- Tray Reline, bucket refurbishment & repair experience
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP, DG (desirable)
- Working Safely at Heights certificate
- Excellent communication experience
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
- Good knowledge and ability to follow Work health and safety procedures and policies
In this role you will
- Possess exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
- Manage repair and preventative maintenance heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople
- Must be proactive in the workplace to ensure quality work is being completed
- Must comply with reasonable request from the supervisor
Licences & Compliance Requirements:
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance.
